I am spending the rest of my time abroad living in Odessa, Ukraine and volunteering with The Odessa Fund, "The Way Home." They are an amazing non-profit organization that was started in 1997. Their aim is to provide complex medical help, psychological support and social adaptation to homeless adults, street children and drug users.
I have been given the task of spreading the word about this organization and have set myself a goal of recruiting 100,000 more members to our group. Use Facebook and search "The Way Home" to find us.
Help me by joining our page, telling your friends and family and donating if you are financially able.
My name is Erika and I started my original blog, My Trans-Siberian Journey, to practice writing Russian and share my thoughts on Russian culture as I traveled around Eastern Europe, but now I have a new subject material: medicine. In this blog, I will explore different medical concepts, talk about my lab experiences and experiences I have with patients. I will also be keeping my readers updated on my progress as I apply to graduate school to become a Physician Assistant!
Thanks for following my blog!
